Iceland - Aurora Borealis
This stunning island is a must for all geography & study tours.
Your students will be in awe of Iceland’s breath taking scenery and landscape. From the minute you arrive in Reykjavík you will taken on an incredible journey, visiting sights such as the Pingvellir National Park
with the spectacular Gullfoss waterfalls (Golden Falls) then on to the Geysir Geothermal Area, teeming with hot springs, exploding geysers and bubbling pools of mud.
Moving on to the Hvolsvollur area will bring new and fantastic experiences for your group, including a visit to the Eyjafjallajokull Volcano and the Seljalandsfoss and the Seljalajokull glacier.
Throughout your visit you will be accompanied by our experience and knowledgeable tour guide who will be on hand to assist.
A ferry ride to the Westman islands, which in 2008 was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will complete your tour, before relaxing and making the exhilarating boat trip to spot whale off the coast of Reykjavík.
Of course, subject to the time of year and weather conditions no visit would be complete without the opportunity to watch phenomenon that is the Northern Lights.
